City profiles and aviation gateways
Each profile centers the globe on a major city and identifies the primary airport code used by PocketWorld. Metropolitan areas can have more than one airport, so the selected gateway is a navigation reference rather than a complete list of local terminals.
City pages can combine public ADS-B aircraft observations, weather layers and nearby hazard context. These sources update independently and have different coverage. Read the timestamp and provider for each layer, and use the operating airline, airport, weather service or emergency authority when an official answer is required.
Choose a city below to open its canonical profile. PocketWorld keeps filtered departure, arrival and weather-search variants out of the search index so that crawlers and visitors reach one useful page for each place.

Aviation data sources
Live positions are aggregated from OpenSky Network and community ADS-B providers. Coverage, update intervals and route metadata vary by aircraft and region.
Frequently asked questions
Does each city page cover every local airport?
No. It uses one primary aviation gateway as a map reference; large metropolitan areas can have several airports.
Are all nearby flights visible?
No. Aircraft appear only when PocketWorld receives a usable public ADS-B observation and enough metadata. Coverage varies by provider and region.
Why is there one indexed page per city?
A single canonical profile avoids duplicate filtered pages and gives visitors one stable place for airport, map and source context.
